Despite the conflicting truths about who the “real Doda Mollie” is, the word is out that she is the “Queen of the Tot Shabbat” and a very popular music specialist for preschools in Southern California. “Doda”, which means “Aunt” in Hebrew, is every child’s special Auntie. She teaches children from 6 months to 5 years in her developmental music program “Doda Mollie’s Music!” taught in private homes and day care facilities. She also serves as the Music Educator at Temple Isaiah, Kehillat Mogen David, Bubbie’s House and Nessah Synagogue. She has filled the hearts of kids and parents alike with her upbeat and rousing Tot and Children’s services at such synagogues as Congregation Mishkon Tephilo, Temple Aliyah, Chabad, Stephen S. Wise Temple and Congregation Adat Shalom in Southern California. She currently serves as the Cantorial Soloist for Temple Shalom of the South Bay. From Reform to Orthodox, Doda Mollie entertains and educates her pint-sized audiences of yidlet kidlets, and their parents, with the appropriate child-centered music and Torah teachings.

Doda Mollie” is a trained Marriage, Family, and Child Therapist as well as a credentialed teacher holding a Masters in Education from Pepperdine University. She was a classroom teacher for many years at Stephen S. Wise Temple Day Schools specializing in General, Judaic, and Hebrew studies. She brings many years in summer camps, a strong Jewish home with a loving family, and her many visits to Israel into her programs.

An ardent Zionist, a practicing Jew, and a real mitzvah girl, “Doda Mollie” makes being Jewish fun!
